I guess I started this publication to help me answer a question I think of often.
Is this how we are meant to exist?
Stuck in a capitalistic cycle. Going through the motions daily, enduring long commutes, falling asleep thinking about work, thinking about bills, waking each morning to assess the wear and tear accumulated from the previous day or week. Adulthood can make you feel like an ever-depreciating car that’s had its check engine light on for far too long. And that just can’t be good for the car, right?
It’s by design that we run on fumes: we sit down after a long day, souls heavy from the burden of living in a way that we were never meant to as human beings. We trade our medium screens for our tiny or large screens, and we consume. But I know life isn’t about what we have; it’s about what we do.
Life is overwhelming, but my table seats many.
Join me as I ruminate on the mysticism of time spent and time lost and growth and creativity. I might write creatively, I might not write at all. This is just a place for me to share in whatever way the spirit moves me to.
